Free To Be – aka “Freebie” – is by “Altpremiumhengst”
Fidertanz (Fidermark / SPS Ravallo), who was selected
Licensing Champion, and
30-day Test Champion. Fidertanz then earned the title
2005 Reserve Bundeschampion, scoring 9.5 for conformation, 9 for trot, 9 for canter, 8 for walk , and two 9.5s for rideability. His offspring have been top notch, demonstrating presence and movement, and selling for big numbers at the German auctions. In 2011, the top selling foal at the Hanoverian Verbrand auction in Germany was a close relative of Freebie–Figo V was the most expensive foal and sold at Euro 71,000. The top-priced foal of the 37th Elite Foal and Broodmare Auction by Fidertanz/De Vito. But the last foal of the auction collection was one of the most popular ones among the auction customers.

Freebie herself is a most affectionate mare, and is the best mover we have ever had here at FarAway Farm. At her own foal inspection she was selected for the
Final Ring because of her presence, beauty and typiness. Dr Christmann noted her correct legs, well-conformed hocks, and excellent use of her joints, which showed in her dramatic trot…. “a very promising, very good-looking filly”. We are very excited to see this mare in action as she is starting training this fall.
Freebie’s close brother was the sale topper at the Hanoverian foal auction in 2011.
Shiraz
The young Shiraz.
Shiraz–2009 Canadian Warmblood gelding sired by Sinatra Song out of our homebred Razmataz. Shiraz is a super mover and is probably the most clever horse we have ever had! He ties, trailers like a pro, and is currently being lightly started. He stands 16 hands at 2 and a half and will likely mature to 16.2. He is available for sale and is bred top and bottom for dressage. What a nice boy!!
